First Steps welcomes donations  - these enable us to subsidise our day care for local families in need, and to fund staff providing family support services.

Volunteering for First Steps
 

There are a number of opportunities available in support of our work at First Steps.  If you are able to spare a few hours weekly to help, please contact our registered office - our reception team will put you in touch with a manager who can discuss this with you.  (All our volunteers are checked through the Criminal Records Bureau).

Vacancies at First Steps

First Steps has established a national reputation for the quality of the services it provides to children and families and we employ over 50 people.  Our current vacancies are shown below:

Shop and Stay
 

Donations of good quality clothing for under fives are wanted at all our sites - this raises valuable funds for our Family Services Team.

 

Come along to one of our groups at First Steps Annexe if you want to make new friends, have fun with your children and need someone to talk to.  See our Family Services page for more information.
 

Corporate Partnerships
 
We are able to offer a number of reserved child care places at our Twerton or Moorlands Children's Centres.  Please contact Karen Jarvis at Twerton Children's Centre, or Lysha Goode at Moorlands Children's Centre for further information.
