First Steps Moorlands Children’s Centre has a 50 place nursery which is open from 8.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday all year round (excluding Christmas shutdown, staff training days, bank holidays).

 

We currently have several spaces .  Please call either Lysha Goode, Children's Services Manager or Maf Jarvis, Children's Services Assistant Manager on 01225 317123 or email at moorlandscc@firststepsbath.org.uk for further information.

 

The Baby Room (6 months - 2 years)

 

 

  • An inside and outside play area

  • A separate toilet/changing facility

  • A milk preparation room

  • A quiet/sleep room

 

The Main Room (2 - 5 years)

 

  • The main play areas are light, spacious and warm.

  • The children have a separate area for the development of creativity, and the exploration of sand, water and other natural materials.

  • There is also a quiet area where children can rest, enjoy story time; sing songs and rhymes in groups and with their key-workers.

  • There is a 'chat' room to promote communication,  language and listening skills.

  • The children have a large outside garden and play area which has a rubberised surface which allows the children to go out what ever the weather.
