First Steps (Bath)-Twerton Children's Centre

First Steps Twerton Children’s Centre has a 60 place nursery which is open from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday all year round (excluding Christmas shutdown, staff training days, bank holidays).

The children's centre is fully accessible and we pride ourselves in being an inclusive setting.

The Baby Room (6 months - 2 years)

A separate toilet/changing facility

The Main Room (2 - 5 years)

The main play areas are light, spacious and warm

The children have a separate room for the development of creativity, and the exploration of sand, water and other natural materials

There is also a quiet room where children can rest, enjoy story time; sing songs and rhymes in groups and with their key person

There is a sensory room for relaxation or sensory stimulation

The children have an outside garden and covered play area that has recently been resurfaced with a rubberised material made from recycled tyres and trainers
