First Steps (Bath)-Twerton Children's Centre

First Steps Twerton Children’s Centre has a 60 place nursery which is open from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday all year round (excluding Christmas shutdown, staff training days, bank holidays).

The Baby Room (6 months - 2 years)

An inside and outside play area
A separate toilet/changing facility
A milk preparation room
A quiet/sleep room

The Main Room (2 - 5 years)

The main play areas are light, spacious and warm.

The children have a separate room for the development of creativity, and the exploration of sand, water and other natural materials.

There is also a quiet room where children can rest, enjoy story time; sing songs and rhymes in groups and with their key-workers.

There is a sensory room for relaxation or sensory stimulation.

The children have an outside garden and covered play area that has recently been resurfaced with a rubberised material made from recycled tyres and trainers.
